As the picture taken last week shows clearly, the bait fish are at Oak Bluff on Martha's Vineyard. My sense is the temperature of the water is climbing and squid are moving into the area with schoolie stripers following soon thereafter.
The weather on the cape has mainly stayed in the 50's and its just a matter of time before the temperature pattern changes and we get some warmer weather. My sense is squid fishing should be good this upcoming week and certainly will be as the water temperature rises.
