Flounder Pounder! Fishing Report Boston Area 6/1/2022 by Little Sister Charters

All trips except Tuesday when that cold front roared in were limit catches of flounder. The last fish with James (above) was just under 18 inches and one of the biggest flounder of the year so far. A strange addition to the flounder is that some very large scup seem to have moved in as well. Yesterday we had a few and today we had almost 10 along with the flounder limits. As for open boat flounder, the only openings left are 06/14, 6am-11am at $150/person. Then we head to Westport where we will start the open boat schedule on June 23rd with "Regular Inshore Open Boat" which will be a 5 hour trip (7am-noon) at $150/person. These Thursday trips will be "mostly" for black sea bass but we will also be ready for tog and fluke, as they present opportunities. Any of these trips can also include a stint (perhaps an hour?) of striper fishing on the way out or in, as favorable. Tuesdays, starting on the 28th will be more exotic trips at $175/person from 6am-noon or 5am to noon at $200/person, as announced. The primary targets will also include cod along with the other, usual suspects and will likely not include the striper stops. AND, I'm now calling one date (06/29, 6am-noon, $175/person) to see how it goes for "jigs only", sea bass/cod/fluke.

If this works out then we will have to make it a regular thing. Please be sure to include your name and phone number when scheduling or replying. Thank you! Captain Jason Colby Little Sister Charters www.LittleSister1.com 617-755-3740 Jason@LittleSister1.com
