Stripers all over the place and getting some keepers, flounder is starting to heat up. Check out Hospital Shoals, Deer Island Flats and alway hit Portuguese Cove for great success. Haddock seems to be getting better daily.

Buzzards Bay: Captain Dave Altrich Altrich Anglers Charters
The bite is on fire in Buzzards Bay. Schoolies are locked in on small bait presentation due to being locked and loaded on the worm hatch from Sakonnet to Cutty Hunk. Landed some nice keeper Sea Bass. Best bet for Sea Bass was in 28 feet of water working the ledge drop offs jogging stick baits.
Midweek I hit Plymouth. The bite was on fire for 5 hours straight on the surface. The stripers were hitting sand eels, so we went with small darters. Water temperatures are in the mid fifties from Plymouth to Buzzards Bay so work the shallows early mornings for striped bass and then hammer the ledges for bottom fish after 8-9AM when the sun comes up.
Cape Cod Bay: Captain Joe Penta CaptainJoePCharters.com
Stripers are reported in Cape Cod Bay. Plenty of mackerel are showing up in numbers which is always a good sign the bigger fish, if not already, here will arrive soon. Your plan of attack is best by catching some mackerel then head off to Barnstable or Billingsgate shoal. Plenty of fish around not all keepers but what a better way to enjoy the Memorial Day weekend.
Vineyard Sound: Captain Skip Bandini TheFishBandit.com
Actually fished Buzzards bay twice this week, plenty of schollie stripers around. Observed some bunker (Menhaden) in Buzzards Bay. Earlier in the week Sea Bass were in closer to the shore mixed in with schoolies. On the way back through Woods Hole heading into Vineyard Sound found some Sea Bass in 70 feet of water.
