Saturday Night 50+ inch striper caught on Saturday night on the South Shore of Boston.
Now, I wish I could say that the flounder fishing was great but that isn't the case. Since Friday we have been finding flounder but not in any reasonable numbers. It seems they bite for select periods of a tide and the rest of the time is like watching ice melt (boring) so I cancelled Tuesday's trip (06/14) and am moving the boat to Westport that day. For the remaining flounder trips I will be spending a bit of time striper fishing on each trip to try to put some weight in the box and send people home with enough fillets.
